·     Where are we going, how do PDS fit into this? Access piece
·     A lot of different groups working on various issues, i.e., post-secondary options, Chancellor’s group with tech schools.
·     PDS conference March 13
·     Percolate ideas, ambiguity
·     Should we add Athletic Directors/Activities Directors to the group
·     Breaking down silos; need to connect; It’s “us”, bridge the gaps
·     Need to allow pre-professionals to learn from their mistakes in a supervised setting
·     Transformational experience to prepare for their first job
·     Having university faculty in the schools is a great connection

·     PT3 grant year’s ago-maybe model that?  Preparing Teacher to Teach with Technology
The Cloud
·     Logistical conversation.  Use teacher education classes for PDS students (special section) spend mornings in the schools, then connect to the university classroom.
·     Fixing a jet engine while the plane is in flight! Both sides are winners.  Get out of our silos.  Results could be profound!  Engagement – high impact practices.
·     Becoming innovative leaders of personalized learning. Devil is in the details.  Time to work with the students.   RFSD & UWRF strategic plans overlap significantly!  Lots of commonality.
·     Whatever we do, use of technology is a given.   Creative critical practice. Personalized learning. Innovation! Build in assessment into the plan to help sustain it.  Help staff deal with data at the macro-level.
·     Student engagement, creativity, communication skills. Best practices - would be great to share conversations. The more support, the better.   Mentor for overall program.  50% release for university personnel and school personnel.  In the building presence, visibility, in the schools.  Innovation is the BIG umbrella.

·     PDS Conference.   Need to finalize participants. 
·     Next meeting April 6, 8:00 – 10:00, at the high school.
